A Keyless Go Repeater fishing rod repeater is a transmitting and receiving radio device, the property of which is to relay and amplify the received signal. Thus increasing the signal range. The relay is not a code grabber. The fishing rod repeater has many names: the universal “Fishing Rod”, “Long Arm”, “Wave”, “Multibrand” works with cars that have a standard “Keyless Go” or “Keyless Entry” keyless entry system installed, the system allows you to open the doors and start the engine car.
This device makes it possible to open and start a car equipped with the Keyless Go, Keyless Entry system at a distance of up to 300 meters.
Its functionality has several operating modes:
1. Mode of operation with cars equipped with the Keyless Go system Toyota entire model range (2009-2023 years) Lexus entire model range (2006-2023 years) Subaru entire model range (2008-2023 years)
2. “Multi-brand” operating mode with cars equipped with the Keyless Go or Keyless Entry system of other brands, inclusive from 2017 to 2023.

When operating in the first mode, Toyota/Lexus/Subaru has KEY DETECTION AND RECOGNITION. In other words, the operator of a large unit sees the presence of a key in the working area of the device.
The communication range between blocks is up to 300 meters in dense buildings/working from indoors, etc. It is important to understand that this is a power reserve in order to transmit the signal normally in case of any buildings or obstacles. But the actual operating range depends on the range of the radio channel between the key and the car, and averages 100-200 meters and rarely exceeds 250 meters!!!!
The range of this radio channel also depends on the battery charge in the key. The communication range margin between the units is necessary for stable operation, although many manufacturers neglect it. For example, work is carried out from the front door on the back side of the house, and the key is in the apartment whose windows overlook the courtyard where the car is parked. As a result, there are no walls between the key and the car, but between the small and large blocks there is a reinforced concrete wall, and most likely more than one. Without a supply of communication between blocks in such a situation, work is impossible. A good supply is necessary even in a busy parking lot.
Another important advantage is that it is not necessary to precisely position the small unit inside the car. The operator simply gets into the car as if it were his own and leaves. The operation of a small unit is similar to a key: it can be located anywhere in the cabin.

Operating principle The device consists of two relay modules – receiving and transmitting. The receiving module must be located near the car, the transmitting module must be located near the key. After turning on the system, a data transmission channel is established between the modules, which allows you to relay vehicle requests to the key and back.
For the system to operate, the following conditions must be met:
The receiving module of the small block should be located 10-30 centimeters from the door handle (an antenna is installed in it).
The transmitting module of the large block should be located at a distance of up to 5-7 meters from the key and directed with its plane towards the key, at this time authorization will occur and you can open the car and start it in the same way. (If the antenna plane is directed away from the key, the irradiation range of the key may decrease)
With additional enlarged antennas it is possible to achieve a dongle irradiation range of up to 15 m.
The package includes two blocks, large and small, and a charger.

When using an external connected antenna, the operating distance of the large unit to the key increases from 50 to 70 percent compared to the built-in one. When working with a connected external antenna, it needs to be stretched and roughly shaped into a square.
